BC Soccer has developed a two-streamed education program in conjunction with the NCCP that will meet the needs of both developing coaches and the sport itself. Each of these Streams include a number of courses designed to prepare coaches for working with players in a specific stage of development as outlined in the LTPD Model. There are no prerequisites to enter the Community Stream Workshops and contain no evaluation component while the entry requirement for the Licensing Stream beginning with the C License is a Soccer for Life completion. The Coach Pathway image below provide a visual overview of the minimum certification requirements for the various levels of play. BC Soccer would also like to make all coaches aware of the Playing Environment which is also shown below:

As of June 17th

Canada Soccer and BC Soccer have developed a 'Return to Play' plan in cooperation with ViaSport and the Provincial Health Authority.  Soccer Clubs are working with their Districts to develop their own return to play program based on the guidelines set by the governing authorities...read more.
