The BC Coastal B-Cup District semi-final playdowns continued this past November long weekend. The BC Coastal Cup will begin in the spring, but the winners of upcoming finals to be held December 14/15 will determine which teams from the Tri-Cities will get to play.

Here are the results thus far:

GU13 D2 Strikers – Oct 20: beat CMF Blue Rockets 1-0 and advanced to the finals to be played Dec 15

GU18 D1 Pumas – as top performers in their division, they automatically advanced to the finals to be played Dec 15

BU13 D1 (07) AC Selects – Oct 19: lost 4-3 heartbreaker in overtime to CMF

BU15 D1 United – Oct 19: beat CMF Ajax 5-0 and advanced to semi-finals in November; Nov 10: beat PCEFC Panthers 2-1 and advanced to finals to be played Dec 14

BU16 D1 Gunners – Nov 10: beat PCEFC Fury 6-0 and advanced to finals to be played Dec 14

BU18 D2 United – Nov10: lost a heartbreaker to the CMF Roma


Many of our PMSC U13-U18 teams started their playoff run for a berth in the BC Coastal B-Cup in the Spring. The District ‘playdowns’ to determine who will attend from the Tri-Cities District began on Oct 19.

Here are the results thus far:

  • BU16 D1 Gunners – as top performers in their division, had a bye this weekend and automatically advanced to the semi-finals to be played in November
  • BU17 D1 TAAJ-FC – will play in semi-finals in November
  • BU18 D2 United – will play in semi-finals in November
