A Message From Our Director
Welcome to the Port Moody SC, a soccer club that prides itself on inclusivity and community support. With a long history of success on the field and a strong presence in our local area, we are thrilled to have you join us.
Established in 1960, our club recently celebrated its 60th birthday. Throughout the years, we have been dedicated to providing exciting and engaging programs for soccer players of all ages and abilities, from U2 to Over 45s. One of our notable achievements is the establishment of the Adaptive Soccer Program, making us one of the first clubs in British Columbia to do so.
Our U2/3 and U4/5 Programs are not only a great place for families to get active and have fun but also an opportunity to connect with other families over a cup of coffee while the children play. Additionally, our PMSC After School Soccer Program, in collaboration with MoreSports, offers barrier-free opportunities for nearly 600 players each year, teaching the benefits of an active lifestyle, healthy living, and fostering social connections.
In addition to our programs, we have Men's and Women's teams in the Adult Leagues, which provides both high-level soccer and a chance for our top players to be seen by university scouts. It also allows younger players to witness high-level soccer in our community after their own youth games.
While our success on the field is important to us, we are equally committed to being more than just a soccer club. PMSC actively supports local events and charities, organizing food, coat, and toy drives. We also have regular Coach and Manager World Cup games, providing opportunities for our coaches and managers to connect and have fun while fostering a sense of community within PMSC.
Our community has shown that our dedication to player development, coach development, referee development, and community engagement is making a positive and lasting impact. Together, with new ideas and approaches from our community, we can continue to excel and ensure that PMSC remains a top choice for players, coaches, volunteers, and referees alike.
