Port Moody Soccer Club: Ensuring Every Child Has Access to Soccer
At the Port Moody Soccer Club, we believe that every child, regardless of their background or financial situation, should have the opportunity to play soccer. Our mission is to promote inclusivity and accessibility in the sport, helping to foster a love for the game in boys and girls of all ages.
With that commitment in mind, we are thrilled to announce our annual Port Moody SC Soccer Shoe Donation & Exchange, taking place on Wednesday, October 2, from 5 PM to 8 PM at Trasolini Field. This event is a fantastic way for our community to come together, ensuring that every child has the proper gear to participate in the sport they love.
The Soccer Shoe Donation & Exchange is designed to benefit families across our community. Whether your child has outgrown their soccer shoes or you just want to give back, you can donate gently used soccer shoes, cleats, or boots, which will then be available for other players in need. Importantly, we want to emphasize that families don’t need to bring or donate a pair of boots to take a pair. Our aim is to ensure that no child is left without the equipment needed to kick off their soccer journey.
This initiative not only helps families save on sports equipment costs but also promotes sustainability within our community by recycling sporting gear that still has plenty of life left in it. Every pair of shoes exchanged at this event helps create a more equitable play environment for all young athletes.
We invite all families in our community to join us at Trasolini Field for this wonderful event. Whether you're looking to donate, exchange shoes, or simply learn more about the Port Moody Soccer Club, come and be a part of a great cause.
Together, let’s keep the spirit of soccer alive and ensure that every child has access to the joy and benefits of playing the game.
Thank you for supporting the Port Moody Soccer Club as we strive to make soccer accessible for everyone, creating a vibrant and inclusive community where every child can thrive on and off the field.
We look forward to seeing you on October 2!
