Truth and Reconciliation Day
The reconciliation process is essential for all Canadians because it's about how we treat each other as fellow human beings and the relationships and communities we want to build for the future. As Reconciliation Canada Ambassador Chief Dr. Robert Joseph says, "Our future, and the well-being of all our children, rests with the kind of relationships we build today."
In honor of Truth and Reconciliation Day, we encourage all our players to wear orange shirts over their PMSC jerseys for their team warm-ups before their games on this important weekend.
Let's stand together to show our support for the indigenous communities and acknowledge the pain and suffering they have endured. By wearing orange shirts, we can raise awareness and promote healing and reconciliation. This small gesture can make a big difference and help create a more inclusive and understanding environment in our sports community.
Together, let's embrace the spirit of unity and strive for a better future.
