ABOUT OUR PROGRAM

BCSPL Intake Development
\Program Overview
The All New PMSC BCSPL Intake Development Program is a professionally administered and coached program.


*Selected players, through our evaluation process, will receive an invitation to participate on the BCSPL Intake team in January 2025

PMSC BCSPL Intake Program is in accordance with the Canada Soccer Association as per BC Soccer’s November 2022 directive for all 2011 BCSPL players will now be playing BCCSL Cascadia League for the spring season, before playing in the BCSPL in September 2024. The spring season will teach and prepare players for full field 11v11 BCSPL Intake Season in 2024. In addition to 9v9 spring league games the intake teams will play exhibition matches in 11v11 full field format vs other BCSPL league clubs, in preparation for the U14 BCSPL intake season.

Visit Power Up

The program will include 3 practices per week during the season with BCSPL qualified Port Moody SC professional coach. In addition to 3 practices each week and 9v9 plus 11v11 game learning opportunities, each PMSC BCSPL Intake Program player will receive home and away PUMA uniforms, PUMA tracksuit, PUMA backpack, and PMSC practice shirt.

Coaching Staff


All the Head Coaches for the program possess the highest level of experience and certification and will follow and continue with the 2011 teams to coach them in U14 BCSPL Port Moody SC the following year.​


The PMSC BCSPL Intakes Girls Program will be overseen by our Technical Director, Brittany Baxter, who played for Canada’s National Team 132 times and played in 2 FIFA World Cups and 2 Olympic Games with Canada’s Womens National Team. Brittany holds CSA B National Coaching License, CSA Children’s License, is BC Soccer Coach Facilitator, and is on Canada Soccer’s Board of Directors.


The coach of the PMSC BCSPL Intakes Girls Program will be Shervin Hajami.

​The PMSC BCSPL Intakes Boys Program will be overseen by our Head of Boys Soccer, Yuri Vasilevski, who played professional soccer for some of the very well-known top European Clubs such as Dynamo Kiev and Torpedo Moscow. He holds UEFA A, UEFA B, as well as CSA B National Coaching License. Yuri is very familiar with the BCSPL league as he has 8 years coaching experience, having won the BCSPL League.

The PMSC BCSPL Intake Development Program is open to all interested players in the lower mainland. The final player placement will be based on player evaluations.
