DIVISIONAL UNDER 13 TO UNDER 18
Our Recreational Teams, Metro, Division 1 & 2 all offer the opportunities to continue to develop and learn, and both follow the Long Term Player Development pathway. By providing the players and families a choice and placing players at their level, we are looking to allow them the opportunities to play with peers at the appropriate level at this particular moment in time.
Ensuring player success and touches on the ball increase player enjoyment, improved player experience, growth in confidence level, and in turn the player development. Players learn the most when having fun and experiencing success, which aligns with Long Term Player Development.
RECREATION
RECREATIONAL (DIV 3) (U13-U18)
This program is highly inclusive and brings together players who goal is to come out each week, learn, have fun, play with their friends, and get some exercise playing our great sport! The focus here is on learning to play the game and ensuring that all players gain improved physical literacy, increased confidence in themselves, and a developed sense of community amongst their teammates, while playing with the smiles on their faces.
Duration of Training: 75 minutes Frequency: 1 practice per week + 1 game

DIVISONAL
DIVISION 1 & 2 (U13-U18)
Port Moody SC provides opportunities for all players to play at their appropriate level in order enjoy the sport, have fun, learn new skills, make friends, and grow the confidence. Division 3 teams train 1 x per week and play the game on the weekend. Division 1 and 2 teams practice 2x per week and play a game on the weekend.

Players not selected to the Division 1 and Division 2 teams will continue to be evaluated throughout the season, as are all our players, and player movement can happen during the season, if staff believes it is the best for that player’s development.
The strength of our club is that we have some very knowledgeable and experienced staff, who know all our players very well and enjoy working with them. We believe in the power of connecting, knowing our players very well, and our technical staff provide year round communication to our players and their families. Staff coaches work with ALL teams (development and recreational).

NEW registrations and interested players in playing Metro Division, this includes players that are coming from outside of the club and PMSC returning players are asked to register for the Player Identification Session.
After they sign up for the ‘Player Identification Session’ players will be invited to a practice, held by our Technical Staff so that we can make informed decisions, and place the player at their appropriate level for the upcoming season.

ACADEMY
HIGH PERFORMANCE ACADEMY (U13-U18)
At PMSC Academy, we strive to provide a safe but challenging environment in which players will be given professional-level training to help maximize each player's soccer potential. Our sessions will identify player strengths, as well as areas requiring focused improvement, in a high-paced, fun weekly setting. We know what it takes to help players reach their goals in soccer, and our experienced staff will provide the proper environment to guide each individual and help them attain those goals.
Our club is committed to providing our members with the best training possible, and we know that our staff will provide exactly that as we continue to enhance club programs and offerings.
