ALEXANDER COOMBES SCHOLARSHIPS
The Alex Coombes Scholarship honors the legacy of Alex Coombes, a dedicated Port Moody SC Board Member whose contributions helped shape the club’s foundation. Alex played a pivotal role in writing and refining club policies, developing our governance model, and guiding Port Moody SC toward achieving the National Youth Club License—an accomplishment that secured our invitation to compete in the BCSPL. The club provides two annual scholarships for graduating players who exemplify leadership, dedication, and a commitment to excellence, reflecting Alex’s lasting impact on our Port Moody Soccer Club and community.
TYLER SHAW SCHOLARSHIP
Tyler Shaw, a multi-platinum-selling pop recording artist, was a dedicated Port Moody SC player from a young age until his graduation in 2011. We are proud to see our alumni staying connected with the club and giving back to our community. Each year, Tyler Shaw awards two scholarships to graduating PMSC players, recognizing their achievements both on and off the field. These scholarships reflect Tyler’s commitment to community involvement and his dedication to fostering leadership and excellence among Port Moody SC players.
REESE MUELLER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
Port Moody SC proudly hosts the annual Reece Mueller Memorial Tournament in honor of Reece, a beloved member of our club whose spirit, passion, and dedication to the game continue to inspire us. Each year, Reece Mueller Memorial awards two scholarships to graduating PMSC players, ensuring that Reece’s legacy lives on. "I Got You."
