This program represents the next step in Port Moody SC’s Long-Term Player Development Pathway, where young players begin their journey in organized soccer.

Port Moody SC offers two streams of soccer to provide the best development opportunities for all players: Recreational and High Performance/Development.

Our U8–U10 programs form a critical stage of Port Moody SC’s Long-Term Player Development Pathway, where players continue to build strong technical skills, confidence, and game understanding in a positive, team-based environment. This phase lays the foundation for future progression through BC Provincial Teams, Canada National Team pathways, university scholarships, and professional club opportunities.

For those seeking a competitive pathway, our High Performance/Development Program provides a structured training environment with two practices per week and a weekend game, preparing players for advanced levels, including BCSPL.

The Port Moody SC Academy is designed to provide high level technical / tactical development opportunities.

Our academy follows an age-appropriate curriculum that focuses on enhancing technical / tactical ability, game understanding, and overall player development in a high level, challenging environment. Led by experienced and knowledgeable coaches, players receive high-quality instruction tailored to their individual needs, helping them build confidence and improve their skills. Whether players are looking to refine their technique, prepare for competitive play, or simply enjoy the game at a higher level, the PMSC Academy offers the ideal setting for growth and success.

The Port Moody Soccer Club is very proud to offer our Adaptive Soccer Program for all youth with abilities / disabilities. This program is offered to any child from ages 6-19, and is suitable for any player who may not be best suited in our primary soccer pathway. We are proud to be one of the first clubs to ever have introduced this program, and it is part of our commitment to ensuring we provide soccer opportunities to everyone who may want them.

PMSC offers an Adaptive Soccer Program three times per year: Fall, Winter and Spring.

Goalkeeper Academy is run by our Head of Goalkeeping and allows for goalkeeper specific training. Whether just starting to play in goal or an experienced goalkeeper, our academy is the perfect place to be for the Long Term Goalkeeper Development. Our goalkeepers will have an opportunity to learn through a variety of situations and will be provided time to understand and perfect the technique.

Season:

Port Moody SC’s BC Soccer Premier League (BCSPL) Program is the highest level of youth soccer in British Columbia, providing a clear pathway to college, university, professional, and national team opportunities. Our BCSPL teams train three times per week with a highly qualified and experienced coaching staff, focusing on advanced technical skills, tactical awareness, and physical development. Players compete in weekly league matches against top clubs across the province, challenging themselves in a high-performance environment. With a strong emphasis on long-term player development, our BCSPL program is designed to push elite athletes to their full potential, preparing them for the next step in their soccer journey.
