This position is open to U16-U18 PMSC Players.
We already know that the younger players are inspired by the junior players, and that junior players are looking to share their love of sport. We envision this as making our soccer program at the younger ages a positive and fun place to be.
The program will look to supply our parent volunteer coaches with extra help on the field during practices (option to assist at games but not a requirement)
Why Join The Program?
Joining the PMSC Junior Coaching Program offers young athletes and aspiring leaders a valuable opportunity to grow both on and off the field. Participants will learn to teach soccer fundamentals while engaging beginner players in a fun and supportive environment. The program allows you to gain hands-on coaching experience, helping to strengthen your communication, organization, and leadership skills. In addition, volunteer hours earned through this program can be applied toward your Grad Transcript, making it a rewarding experience both personally and academically.
Junior coaches may also have the chance to pursue official coaching certifications such as Active Start, FUNdamentals, and Learn to Train, setting a strong foundation for future coaching or leadership roles. All applicants will be reviewed and approved by the PMSC Technical Directors (TDs), who will also make final staffing decisions. Throughout the program, junior volunteer coaches will receive continuous support and mentorship from the team’s Head Coach, Technical Directors, and Managing Directors, ensuring a positive and enriching coaching experience.
