At Port Moody Soccer Club, player development is a journey, not a single tryout. Players are evaluated year-round through team training, games, and Port Moody SC Academy sessions, as well as during scheduled evaluation periods.
This allows our Technical Staff to place players at the level that best supports their current development, confidence, and long-term potential.

Important

U8–U13 Development and Division 1 High Performance teams are year-round programs.
The evaluations listed on this page are for placement within the Spring and Fall/Winter seasons of that pathway.

Who should register for evaluations?

Players should register if they:

• Are new to Port Moody SC
• Wish to be considered for BCSPL, Pre-BCSPL, Division 1, Division 2, or Development
• Are current PMSC players requesting assessment for a higher level

Once the form is submitted, our Operations Team will contact you with next steps.

How the evaluation system works

• Players are assessed throughout the year in training, games, and Academy
• Formal evaluation sessions take place at key times for seasonal placement
• Players may move within the pathway as they develop

This ensures every player is supported at the right level within Port Moody SC.

U8 Development Teams begin in September. Players will be identified and selected during the Spring Season through team play and PMSC Academy sessions.
