The Alex Coombes Scholarship honors the legacy of Alex Coombes, a dedicated Port Moody SC Board Member whose contributions helped shape the club’s foundation. Alex played a pivotal role in writing and refining club policies, developing our governance model, and guiding Port Moody SC toward achieving the National Youth Club License—an accomplishment that secured our invitation to compete in the BCSPL.

The club provides two annual scholarships for graduating players who exemplify leadership, dedication, and a commitment to excellence, reflecting Alex’s lasting impact on our Port Moody Soccer Club and community.
